The PlateWriter systems are the first CtP inkjet systems in the industry to produce print-ready aluminum printing plates without chemical development, an innovative technology that sets new standards for cost, flexibility and speed for offset printing for the 2-sided printing format. Modern platform technologies for the PlateWriter systems enable high resolution, so that repeatable and exact plate registration is guaranteed. PlateWriter printers image the iPlate aluminum printing plates with the help of the special liquid dot ink without the use of developing chemicals. The finisher station is placed under the inkjet printer. The illustrated iPlate aluminum printing plates are dried here and then provided with a protective gum layer .
